These terms govern your use of miniChef ("the Service"), operated by Gotvach ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
miniChef generates recipes, nutrition estimates and shopping lists using automated systems, including large language models. You can save recipes, edit them, and build a shopping basket which can be priced against nearby shops through our companion service kolichka.
This is the most important clause in this document. Please read it.
Recipes, nutrition figures, allergen indications and health labels are produced automatically and may be wrong. Specifically:
The Service is not medical, nutritional or dietetic advice. If you have a health condition, an allergy, or are pregnant, consult a qualified professional.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Generating a recipe consumes credits. New accounts receive a number of free credits.
Paid credit packs and subscriptions are not available yet. The terms in this section describe how they will work and take effect only once purchasing is live in the app; until then nothing in miniChef can be bought and no payment details are collected. When they do go live, further credits will be available as one-off packs or included in a subscription, on the terms below.
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU).
This right is lost once we begin supplying the digital content, if you expressly asked us to begin and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. When you buy credits you will be asked to give exactly that consent, because credits are usable immediately.
In practice: unused credits are refundable within 14 days; credits you have already spent are not. Subscriptions can be cancelled within 14 days for a refund of the unused portion, less any credits consumed. To withdraw, email [email protected].
Nothing here limits your statutory rights where the Service is faulty.
Recipes you write or edit, and photos you upload, remain yours. You grant us a licence to store, process and display them so we can operate the Service for you. We do not claim ownership and we do not sell your content.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or is not yours to upload.
Recipes generated for you are yours to use, including commercially. We cannot and do not warrant that generated text is original or free of third-party rights — automated systems can produce output resembling existing works. Check before publishing generated content as your own.
Do not: attempt to extract our recipe corpus in bulk; use the Service to build a competing dataset; circumvent credit limits or rate limits; probe or attack the infrastructure; or use the Service to generate unlawful, harmful or deceptive content. Automated access is available through our Partner API under separate terms.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change. Some features depend on third parties (model providers, price data from kolichka) and may be degraded or unavailable through no fault of ours.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and as an EU consumer your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.
Where liability can lawfully be capped, ours is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless prevented by law.
We may change these terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and tell you how to object. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version. Every version is archived and reachable from this page.
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. As an EU consumer you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts. You can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, or contact your national consumer protection authority.
