Plan limits
What every plan allows, and when each window resets. These are the numbers the app
actually enforces — this page is generated from the same configuration, so it cannot drift from
what happens when you press the button.
Free — no account cost
Recipes are written by a model running on one machine here, so the free tier is limited by that machine rather than by money.

How the windows work
- Daily limits reset at midnight UTC.
- Weekly limits reset on Monday. A calendar week, not a rolling seven days — so
there is always an answer to "when can I cook again".
- Monthly limits reset on the day of the month you subscribed. A plan started on
the 12th runs to the 11th.
- Whichever window you reach first is the one that stops you, and the app tells you which and
when it lifts.
How credits work
- The free tier does not use credits. Five recipes and one AI photo a day,
every day, for as long as you have an account. It is not a trial with a balance that runs
out.
- A credit buys one more. Past the free five, a credit is one recipe or one
photo — written by the same hosted model a paid plan uses. Credits come from a pack, from a
plan, or from us.
- Credits from a pack expire; the ones on your account do not. Whichever expires
soonest is always spent first, so nothing lapses while you still had it.
- A plan metered in credits lands softly. Spend the month's credits and you are
not locked out — you drop to the free five a day until the month turns over or you top up. The
app says so on the line that used to show your balance.
On the word "unlimited"
Where a plan is described as unlimited, it means there is no per-recipe charge and no credit to
buy — you cook, and it is included. It does not mean there is no ceiling: the limits above apply,
and they exist because every recipe costs us real money in model time. We would rather publish the
number than write "unlimited" and quietly throttle you.
If you reach a limit and need more, use the support form in the app
(Profile → Contact support) or write to [email protected]. We
read those and we do lift limits case by case.
Fair use
These limits are set so a household that cooks every day never meets them. They exist to stop
automated or resale use, which is what would otherwise make an included-usage plan impossible to
offer at this price.
