Ingredients
Cucumber400 gr
Yogurt500 gr
Cold water400 ml
Garlic3 pcs
Fresh dill15 gr
Walnuts50 gr
Oil or olive oil2 tbsp
Salt1 tsp
Method
- Wash the cucumber and cut it into small cubes or grate it on a coarse grater.
- Peel the garlic cloves and crush them with a pinch of salt in a mortar or press them with a garlic press.
- Finely chop the fresh dill and coarsely chop the walnuts.
- In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt with a whisk until smooth, then gradually add the cold water and stir well.
- Add the chopped cucumber, crushed garlic, dill, oil (or olive oil), and the remaining salt to the milk mixture.
- Stir all the ingredients well. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped walnuts before serving and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
